The WaySmart™ Fleet system improves driver safety and reduces accident rates, in addition to automated reports for IFTA and DOT (395.15). It is also includes the Witness Box™ the only court admissible event data recorder on the market (SAE J211 compliant).

  • Help Me Now - A panic button immediately alerts fleet and safety managers with the exact GPS location of the vehicle in trouble. In addition, a timer can be set by the driver to indicate how long they will be away from the vehicle. If the driver does not return as planned, a ‘man-down’ alert is sent.
  • Improved Fleet Utilization - WaySmart™ Fleet empowers Fleet Managers with information for immediate analysis, problem correction, and longer term trend analysis that enables improvement over time.
  • Call Home - Drivers can be alerted to call the home base ASAP.
  • Accident Reconstruction - If there is an accident, court admissible data is recorded in the Witness Box™ that shows all forces on the vehicle. WaySmart™ Fleet is the only patented event data recorder admissible in court (SAE J211 compliant).
  • GPS Tracking - All vehicles are tied into the Global Positioning System (GPS) allowing fleet managers to track vehicles individually, by group, or by exception.
  • Lower Fuel Costs - The WaySmart™ system data is transformed into actionable information that can be used to lower fuel costs.
  • Automatic Report In - Vehicles can be asked to report in at specific intervals, at the end of the day or when they reach specific destinations, such as the vehicle's garage.
  • Automated IFTA and DOT (395.15) Reporting - the WaySmart™ Fleet system automatically calculates information needed for the IFTA fuel reports, and facilitates the hours of service driver log reporting for DOT (395.15).
